HYBRID-SUNRISE, FLORIDA

Position Summary: Community Care Plan, the health plan with a heart, is a hospital-owned Provider Service Network for members enrolled in Florida Healthy Kids, Medicaid, self-insured employee health plans, and uninsured programs. At Community Care Plan (“CCP”), we strive every day to promote healthier communities and be the driving force to ensure that every community has access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.

The Marketing Specialist is a professional dedicated to advancing CCP’s mission by increasing CCP’s visibility and engagement by creating meaningful content and communications and monitoring results. This position will support the Marketing Manager in ensuring the successful implementation of marketing strategies and tactics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and distribute marketing materials and communications specifically designed for the needs of members and providers to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

  • Write, edit, and proofread clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for various channels, including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, advertisements, and print materials.
  • Collaborate with design and internal stakeholders to deliver a consistent and unified brand message and experience to the target audience.
  • Leverage internal clinical subject-matter experts to obtain insight and develop accurate, evidence-based, helpful information for providers and members.
  • Prepare deliverables for client review.
  • Occasionally provide support for creating and publishing social media content.

Develop and distribute promotional items to support Community Engagement in alignment with marketing objectives.

  • Research and recommend brand-aligned promotional items that support marketing objectives. Evaluate samples for quality and brand alignment, and place orders for approved items.
  • Manage the promotional item inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and availability. Support Community Engagement by selecting, preparing, and organizing promotional materials for community events.

Work Schedule:

As a continued effort to provide a safe and productive work environment, Community Care Plan is currently following a hybrid work schedule. Staff are able to work from home 3 days a week and will report to the office 2 days a week. *****The company reserves the right to change the work schedules based on the company needs.

Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience working for a corporate marketing team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills for multiple formats and channels, adapting style to diverse audiences. Proven ability to summarize and translate complex ideas into simple, engaging copy.
  • Comfortable using a variety of software (Canva, Photoshop, and MailChimp preferred) and eager to explore emerging technologies to enhance marketing and communication efforts.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills: proven abilities to manage multiple, often complex, and sometimes competing, priorities to an effective and efficient conclusion.
  • Ability to work independently and take creative initiative.
  • Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with professional maturity, confidence, and competence.
