We're currently hiring for a major client and we're looking for serious candidates that are willing to relocate to Pascagoula, Mississippi to work as a Marine Fire Watch Guards on several Docked Vessels.
1. Start Date of March, 2025
2. 8hr AM shifts Mon-Fri
2. Weekends Off
3. Locals needed, but housing may be provided for anyone relocating from other cities/ states.
4. Background Check Required
5. Must be able to stand and remain alert for 8 hours
6. Uniforms will be provided
7. PPE will be provided
Key Responsibilities:
Fire Hazard Monitoring: Keep an eye on designated areas to prevent and detect fire hazards.
Routine Inspections: Conduct regular checks of equipment and systems to ensure they’re functioning properly.
Reporting: Promptly report any safety concerns or fire hazards to appropriate personnel.
Log Keeping: Maintain an accurate log of activities and incidents during your shift.
Safety Protocols: Follow all company safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
No prior experience required—though some knowledge of fire safety procedures is a plus.
Alertness and focus: The ability to remain vigilant throughout your shift is crucial.
Observation skills: A keen eye for spotting potential fire hazards.
Communication skills: Clear, concise reporting of incidents and hazards.
Physical Requirements:
The physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, writing, occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, sitting, standing for both short and long periods, walking, walking up inclines and on uneven terrain, walking for long periods, climbing stairs and frequent lifting and/or moving of 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds.
