As an Enterprise Architect, your role is pivotal in aligning our technology strategy with business objectives, with a keen focus on innovation and development initiatives. A significant aspect of your responsibility involves addressing the enduring business needs, thereby creating an environment conducive to advanced research for our R&D employees. Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time the remainder of your time.

- Develop Comprehensive Strategies : Craft and implement technology strategies, principles, and roadmaps that align with business objectives. Ensure security considerations are integrated into every aspect of the technology architecture.
- Analyze Business and Innovation Needs : Conduct thorough analyses of business operations, innovation requirements, and security risks. Identify and prioritize business, development, and security needs to inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversee Governance and Compliance : Establish and maintain governance frameworks to ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and best practices. Implement policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard organizational assets and data.
- Select Technologies and Solutions : Evaluate and select technologies, tools, and solutions that enhance business operations, drive innovation, and mitigate security risks. Stay updated on emerging threats and trends to address potential vulnerabilities.
- Optimize Technology Environment : Enhance the flexibility, scalability, and resilience of the technology environment by implementing best practices and standards for infrastructure management, network security, and data protection.
- Support Decision-Making and Risk Management : Provide guidance and insights on security-related decisions and risk mitigation strategies. Conduct risk assessments and develop plans to address identified security risks.
- Drive Organizational Growth through Development : Support organizational growth and innovation by integrating security into the development lifecycle. Promote secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability management processes.
- Provide Architectural Guidance and Infrastructure Solutions : Offer expert advice on enterprise architecture and infrastructure design. Collaborate with IT teams to assess and enhance the IT infrastructure environment, ensuring it meets business requirements and security standards.
- Implement and Test IT Solutions : Lead the design, development, and deployment of IT solutions while ensuring security requirements are met. Conduct thorough testing and validation to verify the effectiveness of security measures.
- Continuously Improve Infrastructure : Stay informed about the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in IT infrastructure. Implement continuous assessment and enhancement processes to improve the organization's infrastructure environment and support business objectives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's with 10+ years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 8+ years or PhD with 5 years in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field preferred
- Bilingual in English and Korean (Native)
- Network Security: Understanding of network security principles and protocols, including VPNs, SSL/TLS, IPsec, and firewall configurations. Experience with network monitoring and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) is advantageous.
- Endpoint Security: Knowledge of endpoint security solutions such as antivirus, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and mobile device management (MDM) systems for protecting endpoints and ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Cloud Security: Experience implementing cloud security best practices and controls in public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, data protection, and compliance monitoring.
- Data Protection: Familiarity with data protection technologies such as encryption, tokenization, and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions to safeguard sensitive data across the organization's infrastructure.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Understanding of disaster recovery (DR) planning, backup and restore processes, and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime and ensure data availability in the event of a disaster or outage.
- Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Knowledge of industry-specific compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and regulatory requirements related to data privacy, security, and IT governance.
