Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the plant maintenance team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Harrisonburg, VA

Pay Range: $40.00 to $45.00 an hour 

Shift: 1st 

What's the Job?

• Direct and manage plant maintenance activities across the entire complex.
• Assist with controlling profits, plans, and budgets to ensure operational efficiency.
• Implement improvements that promote the success of the organization, including safety, quality, and productivity enhancements.
• Provide leadership, development, and training to maintenance staff to foster a high-performance team.
• Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment, making adjustments or replacements as directed.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance supervision or team leadership roles.
• High School diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience developing and executing manufacturing schedules and process improvements.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ability to supervise maintenance employees effectively and promote a safe working environment.
