• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• 8+ years Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, SQL, and Assembler
• Experience with CICS, DB2, VSAM, z/OS, ISPF, and Mainframe Utilities
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with batch and online processing, data analysis, and system integration
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of applications
• Ability to create and maintain technical specifications and user manuals
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, Assembler, or other relevant languages
• Ensure efficient operation of central processing systems, handling updates and enhancements
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for software applications
• Collaborate with business analysts, system engineers, and other developers to align mainframe solutions with business requirements
