Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Physician Assistant Neonatology for a locum tenens job in Onondaga County, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

Medicus has partnered with a facility in central New York that has an opportunity for a skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum weekend coverage.

Opportunity Details:
Schedule: 12 or 24-hour weekend shifts
Level III NICU, 16 beds
Daily Volume: 8-9 patients, 0-2 admissions
Required Procedures: Vent management, ETT, BiPAP, CPAP, chest tube insertion, central and arterial line insertion, UAC/UVC placement, lumbar punctures, etc.
Will attend c-sections
Will assist in the Level I well-baby nursery
Support Staff: Neonatologists, APPs
Required Supervision: NICU RNs and ancillary staff as needed
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
