Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Physician Assistant Critical Care/Intensive Care for a locum tenens job in Elkton, Maryland.

Job Description & Requirements

• Contract length : Through February to start with option to extend if the department needs more coverage
• Schedule: Full time 7 on/7 off night shifts 7p-7a
• Call: N/A
• Setting: Hospital
• Patient Mix: Adults
• Requirements : MD license

Additional Details: 

• License: MD
• Willing to License? : No
• Board Certification: Certified NP/PA
• Other Support Staff: Solo night advance practice but have full support from swing shift intensivist and a night nocturnist (remote).
• Procedures:  Need to be comfortable with central, arterial, etc lines, do not need to intubate or chest tube.
• Patient Census : Inpatient, closed ICU, 10 bed with a max overflow of 4 for a total of 14 max. Current average census of 10.
• EMR: Cerner
• Realistic timeframe for Creds: Standard is 90 days , but emergency privs are available in 45 days.
• References needed: Yes during creds
• Covid Vaccine Required: No
