Core Medical Locums is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Pediatrics CVICU for a locum tenens job in San Francisco, California.

Client in CA seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work in a PICU setting.

- Support staff: 2 teams, each with: 1 attending, 3 NP, 1 fellow
- Overnight there's 1 attending, 2 NPs
- Amount of coverage needed per month: Minimum 4 12-hour shifts
- Patients per day: 17-18
- Patient population/age: Majority peds, neonatal(8 beds), 8% of total population is adult congenital
- Department description:
- 350 surgical cases/year
- Majority of patients are surgical
- Patients include: a significant heart failure population, patients on vents, patients who are pre & post op, patients with cardiac catheterization, many patients on ECMO, many pre-post op transplant patients
Experience with ecmo preferred
