About the Role

As the LPHA under the guidance of the Manager of Outpatient Community Services, you will play a pivotal role in authorizing Integrated Assessments and Treatment Plans (IATP). Your expertise will ensure compliance with standards while providing clinical guidance to our dedicated team. You will conduct thorough behavioral health assessments, develop treatment modalities, and coordinate care plans, all while being a beacon of support during crisis evaluations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the LPHA for IATP, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Provide clinical feedback and guidance to clinicians to support medical necessity and accurate diagnoses.
  • Complete risk assessments and safety planning steps.
  • Utilize screening and assessment tools effectively in treatment planning.
  • Document all activities related to IATP review and authorization.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and determine immediate treatment needs.
  • Request medical consultations promptly when necessary.
  • Collaborate with patients to develop treatment plans that align with their goals.
  • Deliver behavioral health therapy to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Coordinate with crisis service teams for clients in danger of self-harm or harm to others.
  • Maintain records in accordance with policies and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between the community and patient needs, coordinating with various agencies.
  • Provide supervision to clinicians and students as needed.
  • Participate in training and prepare reports on activities.
  • Meet clinical productivity and compliance standards for documentation.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

  • License/Certifications: LPHA
  • Education: Master’s Degree
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in a behavioral health setting.

You should possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, the ability to assess and diagnose accurately, and a professional attitude that aligns with ethical standards in behavioral healthcare. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, along with the ability to provide clinical guidance and organize your work effectively.
