*Job Title: Licensed Massage Therapist*
*Job Summary:* We are seeking a skilled and licensed massage therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and various massage techniques, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients. As a licensed massage therapist, you will be responsible for assessing clients' needs and preferences, and delivering high-quality, customized massages.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform professional quality massage, including modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, hot stone, etc.
* Customize massages based on individual client needs and preferences
* Maintain detailed treatment records
* Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage as part of their overall wellness program
* Promote additional services and products as required
* Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
* Collaborate with other professionals such as chiropractors, physiotherapists, and doctors as needed
* Attend and participate in continuing education and training workshops to maintain current licensure and expand skill set
*Requirements:*
* Valid state license to practice massage therapy
* Completion of a certified massage therapy program
* Proficiency in various massage modalities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
* Strong desire to help others through the healing benefits of massage
* Professional and neat appearance
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required for entry-level positions
* Certification in additional specialized techniques or therapies
* Experience with diverse client base

*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Ability to perform massages for several hours a day
* Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 20 lbs
