Kitchen and Bath Designer Job Summary

Chace Building Supply is looking for a Kitchen and Bath Designer to provide exceptional interior design services to our clients. Depending on the client, you may work on remodeling projects to update an existing home or start from scratch to create a custom kitchen or bath design for a residential space. Our ideal candidate knows the intricacies of bath and kitchen design projects, including the details of cabinet making and flooring installation. Having product knowledge of various materials, appliances, lighting fixtures, and finishes are also preferable.

Kitchen and Bath Designer Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and contractors using design software to create a kitchen or bath design
• Visit job sites to take on-site measurements
• Help clients select various materials
• Provide an estimate for the project in a timely manner
• Work with contractors and tradespeople to build out the design
• Follow client project from concept to completion, keeping a close eye on the job for any changes that may occur

Kitchen and Bath Designer Requirements and Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in interior design
• Proficiency in using 2020 Design software to design projects, or an alternative CAD experience
• A portfolio of past work
• Strong design skills
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Follow through and high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Deal closing or sales experience is a plus
