Junior to Mid-Level FinTech Associate Attorney – Atlanta, GA
Direct Counsel is representing a prestigious Am Law 100 global law firm seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its Atlanta office . This is a full-time opportunity to work across Payments/FinTech, Government Investigations, Data Privacy & Cybersecurity, Litigation, and Consumer Protection matters for clients spanning a wide range of industries.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, problem solver, and strong communicator , with hands-on experience advising clients on regulatory, transactional, and investigative matters within the FinTech and Payments space.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on payments, FinTech, privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection matters.
Support government investigations and compliance matters .
Handle litigation and discovery-related tasks when necessary.
Draft and review contracts, policies, and regulatory submissions.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategy and provide high-level client service.
Stay up to date on emerging trends, regulatory guidance, and enforcement actions in the FinTech and data privacy space.
2–5 years of relevant experience in FinTech, Payments, Data Privacy & Cybersecurity, Government Investigations, Litigation, or Consumer Protection.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Bar admission and good standing in the state of practice.
Federal clerkship experience preferred but not required.
