Page Utility Enterprises (PUE) - Page, AZ is seeking qualified applicants for Journeyman Lineman. This position is responsible for the construction & maintenance of OH & UG distribution lines. Must have knowledge in working with energized equipment to 25kV & maintaining 69kV lines. Requires a HS diploma or equivalent, completion of a 4-year certified apprenticeship program & proof of certification. Advanced training is desirable. Must demonstrate skill in pole & tower climbing, splicing wires, using hotline tools & working in aerial devices. Ability to interpret electrical plans & prints, to stand, use both hands, arms & legs, stoop & bend, & lift up to 100 lbs. Valid AZ Class A CDL required. Requires the ability to be on-call on a rotating basis, to work various hours, weekends & evenings. Must live within a 15-minute response radius of the principle place of work & respond to call-out on a 24-hour basis. Must maintain effective working relationships with other employees, customers & the public. This position requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to work productively in a team atmosphere. PUE offers competitive compensation & a complete benefits package. Working hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Salary - $52.00 per hour. PUE requires post offer, pre-employment drug screening.
