Job Description

Primary Objectives

• To repair and maintain electrical equipment and meet the physical demands of the job while ensuring the safety of themselves and others by observing all local, state, and national electrical codes.

Essential Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned and changed as needed)

• Install cable wireways, pull cable, and terminate according to design drawings.
• Measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
• Conduct terminations and able to properly connect motor controls, panels, PLCs, instrumentation, and switch gears.
• Read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, sketches, and plans.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment, i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, and other PPE as required by specific jobs.
• Willingness and ability to perform other facility related tasks such as plumbing for pneumatic and water, general fabricating, servicing and preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, compressors, etc.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Industrial electrician experience installing, troubleshooting, terminating, diagnosing, and repairing electrical components and machinery.
• Industrial electrical troubleshooting.

• Motion controls, ability to read and understand PLC logic is a plus.
• HVAC troubleshooting is a plus.
• Industrial electrician experience (480V 3-phase)
• Knowledge of NEC code and standards.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and standards.
• Knowledge with use of general electrical testing equipment
• Comfortable working at heights, in the elements, and in confined spaces.
