Import/Export Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Import/Export Specialist with 3 years of experience, for a full-time job, located in Hauppauge, New York. This is an excellent Direct Hire opportunity for someone looking to grow within the Supply Chain industry.
Responsibilities:

• Input and track orders in systems, managing shipments across various channels
• Coordinate and oversee Air & Ocean Imports and Exports, as well as Trucking
• Apply logistics expertise to enhance shipping and transport processes
• Work independently and collaborate with team members with minimal supervision
• Communicate with international vendors and manage incoming shipments
• Verify the accuracy of purchase orders with suppliers
• Assess when orders need to be placed
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet order requirements
• Exhibit problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to balance competing demands
• Ensure persistent follow-up with vendors and customers
• Monitor both Import and Domestic Deliveries
• Address and resolve damages promptly
• Maintain detailed oversight and follow through on orders from receipt to delivery, keeping customers informed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Must have 2-3 years of Import/Export experience

Employment Type: Full time, Direct Hire
Salary: $65,000-75,000/yr

 

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
