Jones Networking is recruiting for an HR Assistant to join a large manufacturing facility in San Antonio, TX. HR Assistant Position Summary:
-Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries.
-Assist with preparing and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records.
-Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations.
-Assist with new employee on-boarding.
-Support team members and management with issues or questions regarding general employment, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
-Provide support to employees in various topics such as leaves, compensation, payroll, workers' compensation, etc.
-Support the company's culture and promote a safe, positive, and productive work environment.
-Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
Qualifications Summary:
-Minimum one year of Human Resources experience working with non-exempt employees and supporting HR functions.
-Experience providing guidance and interpretation of HR policies and procedures to team members.
-Knowledge of EEO guidelines, federal, state, and local laws pertaining to employment law.
-Previous experience with coaching for performance and employee relations investigations a plus.
-Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
