We are currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. Position Summary We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate excavators, loaders, dozers, and cranes. Experience in structural excavation and pipe laying is preferred. This role reports to the General Superintendent and requires a commitment to safety, teamwork, and high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Operate various heavy equipment to load, unload, and move construction materials. Ensure equipment is used safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project timelines. Maintain coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills while operating. Assist with general construction duties when not operating equipment. Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures. Job Site Safety Complete OSHA 10-hour safety training and participate in all safety meetings. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment in compliance with KBC safety standards. Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and construction industry tools/equipment. Familiarity with Federal, State of Ohio, and KBC safety regulations . Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Union Membership: Must be an active union member or willing to join the Operators Union. Maintain a well-organized, clean job site to promote efficiency and a positive company image. Demonstrate respect and professionalism when interacting with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
