We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in heavy civil construction and FDOT projects. The ideal candidate will manage large-scale infrastructure projects (highways, bridges, drainage) from pre-construction to completion, ensuring compliance with FDOT regulations, budgets, and schedules.

• You do not have heavy civil construction experience
• You have not worked on an FDOT construction project
• You have not worked as a Project Manager or in the construction industry
• You require sponsorship

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of FDOT-related heavy civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and approve invoices for subcontractors and vendors.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure project quality, safety, and compliance with FDOT regulations and OSHA standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and FDOT, providing updates and resolving issues.
• Administer contracts and manage change orders, ensuring work is completed according to agreements.
• Monitor and mitigate risks, addressing delays or issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with FDOT project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Certifications: PMP, OSHA 30-Hour, and FDOT-specific certifications are a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
