We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a User Experience Information Architect in the digital industry, located in Boston, Massachusetts. As a UX Information Architect, you'll play a vital role in shaping user-centric digital experiences for our products and services, ensuring seamless navigation, efficient content organization, and optimal user interactions.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including designers, developers, and content strategists to comprehend project objectives and user needs.
• Craft the information architecture of our platforms, ensuring seamless navigation, and efficient content organization.
• Develop user personas, user flows, and interaction models to guide the design process.
• Create sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes to illustrate the proposed information architecture and user journey.
• Define content hierarchies and taxonomies to organize information effectively and enhance user findability.
• Work closely with content creators and strategists to ensure alignment of content with user needs and business objectives.
• Conduct regular audits of existing digital properties to identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.
• Design and manage User Research projects conducted by third parties to gather insights and validate information architecture decisions.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to information architecture and user experience design.
• Collaborate with the development, brand content, and publishing team to ensure the successful implementation of the proposed information architecture.• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to provide training and guidance to entry level team members
• Strong research skills for staying updated with the latest design trends
• Advanced design skills with a strong portfolio of previous works
• Proficiency in managing time effectively and meeting project deadlines
• Experience in auditing design works for quality and consistency
• Ability to design and maintain websites, ensuring optimal user experience
• Capability to perform ad hoc financial tasks related to design projects
• Knowledge in enhancing brand awareness through creative designs
• Proven experience in the implementation of design strategies
• Proficiency in digital design tools and software
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for collaborating with team members
• Experience in dealing with stakeholders at various levels
• Experience in campaign planning, execution, and evaluation
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS for web design
• Understanding of best practices in the design industry
• Experience in liaising with suppliers for design materials
• Knowledge of C - All Versions for software development related to design
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management
• Proficiency in CSS for styling web pages
• Knowledge in digital marketing and its correlation with design
• Proficiency in using design tools and software
• Willingness to work onsite if necessary
• Knowledge of UX principles and their application in design
• Ability to conduct competitor analysis for design strategy improvement.
