We are seeking a Front-End Web Developer with strong design skills who shares our mission and has the technical expertise to enhance and maintain our digital platforms. This role will combine creative design with technical implementation to ensure engaging, user-friendly experiences for our audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design visually appealing, user-centric website layouts and interfaces, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across all platforms.
• Develop, customize, and maintain responsive WordPress websites, focusing on performance, accessibility, and functionality.
• Create and customize themes, templates, and plugins for WordPress with a focus on both design and usability.
• Implement and manage e-commerce functionality using WooCommerce for memberships, product sales, and event registration.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and integrate tools like HubSpot CRM and Talent LMS into websites.
• Optimize website performance, including page load times, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
• Leverage AWS services to maintain a secure and reliable hosting environment.
• Design and create digital assets, including graphics, banners, and other multimedia for websites and digital campaigns.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand design and functionality requirements and bring them to life.
• Stay updated on web design and development trends, ensuring our digital platforms remain innovative.

Qualifications Required Skills:

• Proven experience in front-end development with a strong design portfolio.
• Expertise in WordPress , including theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency in HTML , CSS , and JavaScript , with a focus on responsive and user-friendly design.
• Strong experience with WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop , Illustrator , or Figma .
• Ability to create engaging visual assets and intuitive user interfaces.
• Experience integrating CRMs (specifically HubSpot ) and Learning Management Systems ( Talent LMS ).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS for hosting and deployment.
• Strong understanding of SEO and website optimization principles.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of PHP and MySQL for advanced WordPress customization.
• Experience with corporate identity & branding, style guides, or design systems
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and implementation.
• Passion for Christian counseling and alignment with AACCs mission and values.
