Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team in a fast-paced food processing plant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality food products while adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards. The Production Worker will be responsible for various tasks throughout the manufacturing process, including packaging, sanitation, and compliance with FDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist in the packaging of food products, ensuring proper labeling and quality control.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, following HACCP and CGMP protocols.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Utilize basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating production metrics.
• Safely operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the facility.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food production or a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, and CGMP practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation practices within the food industry.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and calculation tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while adhering to safety guidelines.
