Executive Assistant (Bilingual – Korean)

Overview:

  • This top-tier Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Head of our organization. This person will anticipate the needs of the executive team and other team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise.

Duties and responsibilities:

Perform an extensive range of administrative tasks such as:

  • Calendar management and scheduling
  • Expenses
  • Coordination of complex international and domestic travel itineraries, etc.
  • Coordinate and arrange logistics for any meetings, including preparing meeting materials ahead of time
  • Coordinate internal and external relationships with founders, portfolio company teams, and industry influencers.
  • Maintain overall responsiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of administrative processes and procedures
  • Provide administrative support and coordination for Next meetings and events as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Bilingual with Korean and English. Must be fluent in writing, reading and speaking both languages
  • Strong familiarity with Korean culture
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • Strong comfort level in juggling complex schedules and travel
  • Genuine interest in the industry and business, and desire to understand how we function, why we function, and who our clients are
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time-sensitive duties
  • Possess excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow through, comfortable making decisions, and comfortable working confidential information
  • Direct experience dealing with complex and sensitive situations in a diplomatic manner
  • Possess strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a wide variety of internal and external contacts at all levels
  • Passion for learning, continuous improvement, and sharing best practices
  • Ability to think strategically and understand the business and industry
  • Ability to quickly learn/adapt using diverse tools and technologies
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter as well as with teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G-Suite

Compensation:

  • $40-50/hr (W2/Non-Exempt)
