CentraLarm Monitoring is a family owned, Manchester-based, Emergency Services Dispatch Center. We are responsible for monitoring residential and commercial security and fire alarm systems. Providing our customers with peace of mind that their property is being protected. We do this by proactively and professionally alerting our customers to a potential issue. We are engaged with our customers 100% of the time over the phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

The Central Station Overnight Team Lead is an entry level leadership role, all training will be provided to you. You will work directly overseeing the day-to-day functions of the monitoring facility operators and report directly to the Central Station leadership team. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will work directly with the operators, leading them from the dispatch floor and supporting them in alarm handling.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving incoming telephone or alarm system calls regarding emergency and non-emergency police and fire service, emergency ambulance service, information, and after-hours calls for departments within a city.
• Relaying information and messages to and from emergency sites, to law enforcement agencies, and to all other individuals or groups requiring notification.
• Recording details of calls, dispatches, and messages
• Follow outlined shift plan, from management, which may include things such delivering staff assignments, training, coaching staff, etc.
• Oversee day to day alarm traffic and operator tasks in the Central Station, a 24/7/365 operation
• Lead by example, interact with customers and co-workers, instill a strong sense of confidence through outstanding attention to detail, sense of urgency, and follow-up
• Answer and report customer / departmental complaints
• Assist leadership in prepping call center assessments, customer service reports, etc.
• Ability to handle difficult and escalated client calls

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of overnight experience required (for overnight lead position)
• Qualified candidates must be motivated self-starters, highly organized and able to multiple task
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to maintain composure, in difficult/high stress situations.
• Must possess outstanding communication skills
• Ability to commute/reliable transportation
• Ability to work weekends (either Saturday or Sunday will be built into your permanent schedule after training)
• Ability to participate in an on call rotation is required
