Position Summary:

Economics Instructor DM

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Economics or
• Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Economics.

Job Description:

This is a tenure-track position that will begin in August 2024

• The College desires candidates with on-going professional development interests, love of teaching, and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.
• Love of teaching is primary.

Prefer applicants with:

• Demonstrated instructional experience at the post-secondary level.
• Two to five years of professional experience in a business-related company, industry, or organization.
• Professional or community affiliations in business/economics related associations.
• Ability to teach an evening course if necessary.
• Instructional knowledge of or another learning management system (); and
• A commitment to students through exceptional teaching and learning.

Pay Rate:
A faculty member shall be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the contract with the faculty union.

• Grade 2: Master's Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the field $50,421.94
• Grade 2+: Master's Degree with 30 graduate semester hours in the field $53,004.11
• Grade 1: Earned Doctor in major field $55,587.43
