A local dog grooming spa is seeking full- and part-time Grooming Assistants to join our team in a cage-free, full-service dog spa in Oxford, MS. Our focus is on the emotional well-being of the dogs we work with, ensuring an stress-free and compassionate grooming experience. No phone inquiries, please!

Responsibilities:

• Bathe, dry, and brush dogs.
• Trim nails, clean ears, and brush teeth.
• Assist stylists during grooming sessions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the day.
• Identify potential health concerns (e.g., ear infections, skin conditions, dental issues) and accurately relay information to pet owners.
• Follow best practices to ensure a safe and positive experience for all pets.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of professional animal care experience.
• Self-motivated with strong leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
• Background check required.
• Professional references.

Schedule: 4-8 hour shifts.
