Abbruzzese Floors is looking to expand our team with the addition of a Delivery Driver. This position is mostly an afternoon/night shift with regular working hours of 3 pm-12 am.
Job Requirements / Expectations:
- You’ll be responsible for picking up and dropping off machines and materials for our install crews. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, and a commitment to going above and beyond. If this sounds like you, we want to see your application.
- There is no CDL required for this position, but applicants must be able to drive Ford Transit Vans as well as a 16’ Isuzu Box truck into and around Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs daily. You will need to help load and unload materials onto the truck at our warehouse as well as unload the materials once at the job site and deliver them to the appropriate job location within the building we are working in.
- We are looking for team members who are self-starters. We are also looking for team members who can problem solve, even in the toughest of situations. Manhattan Construction will put you in some very difficult situations and as an Abbruzzese team member, you need to be able to think on your feet and outside the box.
- Our company works in the Self Leveling Cement, Concrete Polishing, and Epoxy industries. Our work takes place primarily at night and therefore deliveries will vary consisting of daytime and afternoon/night deliveries in order to ensure that the machinery and materials are on site prior to the install crews arriving at the job location.

Compensation: $24 - $27 hourly
Responsibilities: - Inspect orders before and after unloading for accurate delivery
- Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of new products for our customers
- Compile any necessary documentation related to the delivery
- Ensure all loaded materials are properly and safely secured in vehicles
- Adhere to predetermined routes, schedules, and local traffic laws to ensure safe and efficient delivery
Qualifications: - Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or related job preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess great time management skills and communication skills
