Job Description
A FedEx Ground contractor, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Full Time and Part Time Delivery Drivers. Drivers will be operating out of the Fort Smith terminal and will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses in the Mountainburg and Dover areas of Arkansas.
Compensation: $125.00 per day
The terminal location: 4501 Industrial Drive, Fort Smith, Arkansas
Work Hours: 7:30 am to Delivery completion (avg of 50 to 80 stops)
Work Schedule: Tues-Sat, Thurs-Sun, Mon-Fri and a Wed-Sun

DELIVERY DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- 1 year of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 3 years OR 5 years of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 5 years. MILITARY DRIVING, TAXI, UBER, PIZZA DELIVERY, and LANDSCAPE DRIVER, ETC are ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE
- Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical and Physical Exam (Paid for by FedEx!)
- Must submit a background check
- Physically able to handle packages up to 150 lbs (with a dolly)
- This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the truck
- Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or DHL is a plus
DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain 100% service performance - Deliver all the packages every day in a timely manner.
- The ability to locate suburban addresses using GPS and a good general knowledge of the local area.
- Complete Daily DOT inspection for your vehicles before and after each route.
- Follow FedEx Ground procedures for scanning, marking, handling and delivering all packages
- Wear proper uniform while at work at all times.
- Ensure all Safety Incidents are properly reported to the Business Contacts.
