As a dedicated Class A CDL truck driver, you'll be the face of our company, directly interacting with our valued customers during daily pickups and deliveries within your designated local area. Responsibilities - A Day in the Life

• Operate company-owned tractor-trailer or straight trucks to transport freight between designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport.
• Manage electronic logging devices (ELDs) to accurately record driving hours and activities.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, service center personnel, and customers.
• Provide courteous and professional interaction with customers, ensuring a positive representation of ACT.
• Proactively support operations by assisting supervisors with key tasks and initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Endorsements: Hazmat, Doubles/Triples
• Moffet experience a plus
• Flatbed experience a plus
• Verifiable commercial driving experience
• Clean driving record reflecting less than two moving violations in the past 3 years
• Complete all onboarding requirements
• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
