The fairlife 2025 Summer Internship Program will take place from 6/2 through 8/15 at the fairlife location specified in this job description.job purpose:The Data Engineering Intern will play a role in delivering fairlife's ambition of building a best-in-class Data and Decision Intelligence (DDI) ecosystem. This role will support the digital transformation of our manufacturing operation, translating technical requirements from our factories into targeted solutions that fit into fairlife s broader data framework, roadmap and architecture.skills/qualifications required: Must be currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree programStudent entering the fall semester as a junior or senior preferredPreferred focus on Computer Science, Data Science, or any Engineering degreeCumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, or higherExperience with SQLExperience with at least one object-oriented language (Python, Java, C#, etc.)Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.learning objectives: Learn to design and implement ETL pipelines for factory telemetry dataAssist in creating data models in collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersDevelop skills in the Azure cloud tech stackApply data engineering concepts to solve practical problems for the businessinternship location: Chicago, ILschedule: On-Site, 40 hr/weekinternship duration: 6/2/2025 through 8/15/2025reports to: Sr. Manager, Data Engineering fairlife, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
