Data Analyst Intern As a
Data Analyst Intern , you will play a key role in enhancing our data infrastructure and delivering valuable insights to support strategic business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience at the intersection of data analytics, AI tools, and the chemical manufacturing industry.
Location: Hybrid role - our headquarters is located in Alpharetta, GA
Duration: June 9th - August 15th (with flexibility to extend)
Key Responsibilities - Extract and analyze data from state air permits to enhance competitive intelligence and decision making
- Assist in building and maintaining a centralized database to house air permit data
- Develop a robust, repeatable process for data updates and long-term database sustainability
- Leverage tools like Microsoft Power BI , Excel , and AI platforms to analyze and visualize data
- Support market analysis efforts to identify business development opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Polymer Technologies Commercial Team
Qualifications Technical Skills: - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis functions)
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Familiarity with AI tools and platforms
- Exposure to data cleaning, analysis, and management practices
- Understanding of database systems is a plus
Education: - Current student pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
Preferred Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
