Join to apply for the Cross Country Coach, MS - 2025/2026 role at Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District Job Description: The Cross Country Coach will be responsible for organizing and supervising a total sports program, including previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport and substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport. Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program. Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport. The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport. Responsibilities: Instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. Upgrade knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc. Maintain discipline, adjust grievances, and work to increase morale and cooperation. Requirements: Has a thorough knowledge of all athletic policies approved by the LVJUSD and is responsible for their implementation. Has knowledge of existing system, state, and league regulations and implements them consistently. Understands the proper administrative line of command and refers all requests or grievances through proper channels.
