Our client, a well-known small private architectural and design firm, is seeking a Commercial Interior & Exterior Design Architect to join their team in the North Austin, TX area. As a Commercial Architect, you will be part of the design and project management team supporting commercial architectural projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and technical expertise in CAD & Sketchup which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Commercial Interior & Exterior Design Architect

Location: North   Austin, TX (Onsite)

Salary: Competitive base PLUS incentives and bonuses

Schedule:  Mon-Fri

Opportunity Details:

• As a Design Architect you will develop architectural plans and designs (interior and exterior) for commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with building codes and functional requirements.
• Create detailed 2D/3D drawings, specifications, and models to effectively communicate designs to clients and contractors.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, managing budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients, addressing concerns and providing updates throughout the project.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• At least 3 years of commercial internal/external architectural design experience.
• Licensed Architect in the State of Texas (ARE) or will be license within 6 months
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and SketchUp (3D modeling).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
