Body Shop Technician located at
Napleton's Wayzata Auto Center and Collision, the
Body Shop Technician performs vehicle repairs as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The

Job Responsibilities: - Review customer needs with technicians and help develop solutions
- Offer other cost-saving options and warranty information
- Acknowledge all customers as they enter the department
- Notify the customer of any delay or change in the maintenance or repair of their vehicle
- Review all charges and services rendered with customers to ensure their understanding and satisfaction
- Complete check ins with customers and communicate customer request or upsells
- Blueprint pre-repair plans on vehicles
- Prepare pre-repair plans by accurately entering vehicle information, taking pictures, and documenting damages with proper damage and insurance notations
- Understand and educate customers on OEM certifications during the sales and advising portion of pre-repair consulting, upselling as appropriate
- Follow all SOP's, as well as maintain and keep solid records and data
- Complete final bills for customers, ensuring accuracy of parts coding and utilization from repair planning systems and CDK management system
- Prepare and review reports relating to pre-repair plans, supplements, and parts usage
- Meet with body shop manager to review the previous week, discuss positive things happening, explore opportunities for improvement, and find what is needed for the current week.
Job Requirements: •High School Diploma or equivalent required
•Automotive/Body shop experience is a plus but not required
•Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required
