Job Summary The College Recruit II serves as a key liaison between the College of Engineering and Computing's graduate program directors and prospective graduate students. Provides expert guidance to students on academic matters and serves as the lead recruiter for all graduate degree programs within the College. Works closely with the Office of University Admissions to ensure the efficient coordination and execution of recruitment and admission activities, demonstrating independent decision-making authority, judgment, and the ability to initiate and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures. Processes graduate admissions documentation, facilitating, submitting, and routing graduate assistantship contracts, and acting as a liaison between graduate students, departments, the Dean's Office, and Central HR. This position ensures the efficient operation and continued success of the College's graduate programs. Manages recruitment efforts through a variety of channels, including conducting information sessions (both online and in-person), college fairs, and open houses, which may require overnight and weekend travel. Achieves graduate admissions and enrollment goals for the College. Maintains comprehensive records and prepares both ad hoc and periodic reports as required. Generates recruitment reports for assigned geographic areas or disciplines and analyzes and interprets them for strategic planning. Recommends and implements new outreach strategies for recruitment in untapped geographic areas. Acts as a liaison between the Colleges graduate program directors (Masters) and prospective graduate students, providing guidance on academic matters and program specifics. Interprets and applies State, University, College, and School policies and procedures regarding graduate academic advising, staying current on updates and changes. Leads special projects designed to enhance student success and promote retention within the graduate programs. Advises prospective applicants on admissions policies, procedures, and requirements, ensuring clarity and understanding throughout the admissions process. Manages programmatic functions and recommends policies and procedures for effectively managing recruitment and admissions programs. Processes graduate admissions documentation, ensuring timely submission and routing for review. Facilitates and submits graduate assistantship contracts, ensuring proper routing and compliance with College and University policies. Serves as the University\'s credit card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University\'s credit card policies and procedures. Acts as a liaison between graduate students, departments, the Dean\'s Office, and Central HR, ensuring smooth communication and efficient processing of relevant documentation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree and 3 years of relevant experience or a Master\'s degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
