Job Description:
The store manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and the store's overall success. Key responsibilities include ensuring excellent customer service, developing and leading a strong team of baristas, and creating a culture of operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Operations:
Open and close the shop
Oversee daily operations including drink preparation and customer service
Clean and maintain shop
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Have clear and prompt communications with ownership
Leadership:
Hire, train, and schedule Baristas
Coach and develop current staff by motivating and incentivizing staff
Address any performance or disciplinary issues
Customer Service:
Ensure customers have an unforgettable and positive experience
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally
Foster an atmosphere that will build customer loyalty and encourage repeat business
Sales & Inventory:
Manage inventory levels and place orders as needed
Monitor sales and create sales strategies to increase revenue growth
Implement marketing and promotional initiatives
Financial Management:
Track daily sales and expenses
Prepare cash deposits and manage petty cash
Identify opportunities to decrease unnecessary costs
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years of management experience in a food service or retail setting.
Experience in the boba tea industry is a plus.
Skills:
Able to lead large teams
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to effectively problem-solve using sound judgment.
Basic financial and inventory management skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Other:
Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one).
