Job Title: Store Manager

Company: Teaspoon Chino

Location: Chino Hills, CA

Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 Yearly + Incentives

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

The store manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and the store's overall success. Key responsibilities include ensuring excellent customer service, developing and leading a strong team of baristas, and creating a culture of operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Operations:

    • Open and close the shop

    • Oversee daily operations including drink preparation and customer service

    • Clean and maintain shop

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

    • Have clear and prompt communications with ownership

  • Leadership:

    • Hire, train, and schedule Baristas

    • Coach and develop current staff by motivating and incentivizing staff

    • Address any performance or disciplinary issues

  • Customer Service:

    • Ensure customers have an unforgettable and positive experience

    • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally

    • Foster an atmosphere that will build customer loyalty and encourage repeat business

  • Sales & Inventory:

    • Manage inventory levels and place orders as needed

    • Monitor sales and create sales strategies to increase revenue growth

    • Implement marketing and promotional initiatives

  • Financial Management:

    • Track daily sales and expenses

    • Prepare cash deposits and manage petty cash

    • Identify opportunities to decrease unnecessary costs

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • 2+ years of management experience in a food service or retail setting.

    • Experience in the boba tea industry is a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Able to lead large teams

    • Strong leadership and communication skills.

    • Excellent customer service skills.

    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

    • Ability to effectively problem-solve using sound judgment.

    • Basic financial and inventory management skills.

    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

    • ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)

  • Other:

    • Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one).

    • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
