Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide exceptional care for our residents in our various Long Term Care Facilities. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: Our LTC Float Pool supplements staffing throughout our 6 Long Term Care Facilities based on need. You will receive your assignment each day from your supervisor and receive paid mileage to the facility outside of the bounds of your "home base" which is the nearest facility to your home address. Nurses who work in the Citizens Memorial Long Term Care Float Pool will be trained to float and support in a variety of facilities including: Lake Stockton, Colonial Springs in Buffalo, Ash Grove, Community Springs in El Dorado Springs, Parkview, and citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar.
A typical day includes: A typical day will include knowing and applying current nursing theory, principles of treatment, and nursing procedures in the care of residents.
Prepares residents for meals, serves, and collects food trays and nourishment, and document intakes.
Bathes, dresses, and assists resident with personal hygiene including oral hygiene, peri-care, nail care, and hair care along with any other activity of daily living needed.
Completes range of motion, positions, and pads residents for proper alignment, comfort, and relief of pressure.
Job Requirements:
Education: HS diploma
Experience: Must be certified as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills, Willing to travel to various facilities throughout our eight county service area. Licensure/Certification: N/A
Physical: ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consists of walking.
