Nature of Work: The CFO oversees all financial operations and strategies, managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, reporting, and controls for both the parent organization and its subsidiary. The role involves working closely with the CEO and senior leaders to support strategic initiatives and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership in strategic planning and decision-making.
• Represent the finance department in executive meetings and board presentations.
• Develop financial forecasts and evaluate performance for improvement.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring effective communication and professional development.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Manage financial risks and internal controls.
• Lead special projects, including fundraising and grant activities.

Additional Requirements:

• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.
• Travel between Maine locations; based out of Westbrook or Gardiner.
• Ability to pass background checks.
