Job Description

Korn Ferry has been Retained to seek a visionary and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to help drive the companys continued growth and global expansion.

The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, capital markets, treasury, tax, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring global financial leadership experience in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic financial leadership, aligning finance with business goals and global operations.
  • Lead the development of financial and operational strategies, KPIs, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Manage global financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
  • Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and compliance functions across international jurisdictions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to external financial institutions, investors, and auditors.
  • Evaluate M&A opportunities and capital investment strategies; lead due diligence and integration.
  • Enhance internal financial controls, ERP systems, and automation of reporting functions.
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Foster a high-performing finance team and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including CFO or senior VP roles.
  • Experience in international operations and global supply chains.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging technology to drive financial strategy, reporting, and operational efficiency (e.g., ERP systems, business intelligence tools, automation, AI, or advanced analytics).
  • Strong background in distribution, trading, or chemical/materials sectors is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in capital markets, debt financing, and cash management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing operational details.
