About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Communications Officer to lead a transformative phase in its strategic communications, with a focus on amplifying its message, engaging a broader audience, and deepening its impact on global health care policies and practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive global strategic communications plan, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and coordinating efforts across the global network. This role requires a dynamic leader with at least 10 years' experience in strategic communications, including a minimum of 5 years' in leadership positions, and a proven track record in crafting impactful messaging, planning successful communication campaigns, and advocating across diverse platforms. The Chief Communications Officer will also be involved in team management, digital engagement, brand management, and will play a key role in major events and convenings. The role demands an individual with excellent writing and editing skills, the ability to work effectively in multicultural settings, and experience in global or international communications. Proficiency in English is required, with fluency in Spanish strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader, adept at managing teams and resources, and will be committed to the mission of the organization, which is dedicated to environmental health and justice. A Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field is required, with advanced degrees or certifications being highly valued.
