About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to oversee the administrative operations of its employed physician group. This newly created system-level role is pivotal in driving the organization's growth, operations, and financial results within the physician enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining standardized infrastructure and processes, ensuring the fulfillment of the organization's mission, vision, and values, and fostering an environment of satisfaction and enthusiasm among physician leaders and support service professionals. The CAO will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Medical Officer, serving as a trusted thought partner and representative of the directly employed physicians. Applicants for the CAO position at the company should ideally hold a Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field or business and have experience within a complex health system, particularly with multi-site operations. The role requires demonstrated competence in the employed physician compensation model and experience with service line integration. The CAO will be a key figure in the organization's evolution to meet the healthcare needs of the region, and as such, the ability to lead and manage change effectively is essential. The role is not just about administrative oversight; it is about being a strategic leader who can ensure the delivery of personalized, high-quality, and customer-focused care and service.
