NCA is seeking motivated, talented, and aspirational mid-career professionals with the ambition to partner with NCA to search, acquire, and lead a small or medium-sized enterprise as Chief Executive Officer. As an NCA Searcher, you will lead an up to 24-month professional search to acquire one small to midsized company. During this process, you will have access to financial and business support from NCA, along with an attractive incentive package comprising a base salary and vested shares in the acquired company to support your entrepreneurial journey. Please note that we do not invest in start-up or scale-up companies. Successful candidates will search, acquire, and manage a company in the US. Applications close on May 1st, 2025. RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish a search process with NCA to generate sufficient deal flow aiming to find a business to acquire based on pre-defined criteria. Manage the acquisition process with support from our experienced investment team. Assume the CEO role of the newly acquired business. Proactively identify and evaluate strategic growth options and develop long-term business strategies and 100-day plans. Drive top-line growth through impactful marketing and sales initiatives. Review and improve product/service offerings, portfolio strategies, and brand positioning. Identify value creation opportunities, develop new products/services, define go-to-market strategies, and organize commercial launches. Manage geographical expansions and implement market entry strategies. Ensure efficient and profitable growth.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

10+ years of professional experience. Academic achievement (Executive MBA or MBA preferred). At least 5+ years in leadership roles managing multiple teams across various geographies. Proven track record of running and growing businesses or business units in the US for at least 5+ years. Strategic vision for a sector or industry. Strong motivation towards entrepreneurship. Experience living and working in the US for the last 10 years.

NICE-TO-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

Experience in top consulting firms. Experience managing or operating an SME. Ownership or co-ownership of a startup. Experience in global business development and international expansion. Recent successful business transformation experience. Open-mindedness towards learning, people, and failure.

SELECTION PROCESS

Candidates will undergo multiple interviews, complete and present a business case, and participate in a jury review of their investment thesis over several weeks. Webinars are available for candidates to learn more and meet the NCA team. The final assessment with the jury will take place in July 2025.
