Job Description

Weichert Real Estate Affiliates is hiring a Business Advisor. The Business Advisor is responsible for increasing company revenue, brand recognition, good name, and presence with franchisees in an assigned geographic region. The Business Advisor also guides new franchisees as they transition into Weichert and provides ongoing consulting and support to all assigned franchisees to ensure the successful and profitable growth of their businesses.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Ensures the successful transition of a new franchisee to Weichert through the “New Franchisee Transition Plan”. Provides the necessary support and guidance to the franchisee during the transition to ensure the transaction is thorough, complete, and as smooth as possible.
  2. Conducts an initial assessment of the franchisee’s current management systems, as well as an onsite inspection of their office. Provides recommendations for enhancements that will support WREA’s business objectives.
  3. Assists the franchisee with developing an annual business plan. Develops a custom transition “road map” for the franchisee to focus on the installation of the Weichert Tools & Systems and ensures the Franchisee is on track to grow their business.
  4. Provides one-on-one ongoing consulting to the franchisees by following the “On-going Consulting Plan”. Tracks each franchisee’s results and compares them to their business plans; develops an action plan to ensure future results are in concert with franchisee’s business plan.
  5. Oversees area development and franchise relations within multiple Broker Councils in the region through advanced planning, coaching, and leadership. Builds competence within the council and ensures the business they conduct is directed toward the purpose of the council.
  6. Provides ongoing coaching, training, and guidance to ensure the franchisees fully understand and install each Weichert Tools & System.
  7. Delivers management training presentations during regional and national events. These types of events include broker council meetings, sales rallies, and conventions.
  8. Oversees contract compliance. Monitors violations of the franchise agreement and makes recommendations to the committee for any appropriate action.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  3. Real estate license preferred
  4. Valid driver’s license
  5. Five (5) or more years of real estate management or real estate franchise experience strongly preferred
  6. Extensive experience in customer service and managing people (individuals and groups), task forces, projects, and tasks required
  7. Previous experience in product or brand marketing preferred
  8. Ability to read and interpret financial statements for company owners and managers
  9. Ability to understand the desired outcome and available resources
  10. Ability to create effective procedures
  11. Ability to train support staff and manage to the objectives
  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
  13. Strong oral and written communications skills
  14. Ability to conduct presentations and hold one-on-one meetings
  15. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  16. Strong attention to detail
  17. Strong customer service skills

The approved salary for this position is up to $110,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
