**_WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):_** Drive vehicle to pick-up deliver and properly store correspondence, products and other lightweight materials in accordance with an assigned route or on and as needed basis. Perform additional transport or loading duties to support the American Red Cross. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.
**This is a Part Time position, 16 hours per week, 3 days,. 5.5 hours a day in the morning.**
**_WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD_** (Key Responsibilities):
1: Drive vehicle to pick-up, deliver and properly store correspondence and products.
2: Operate vehicle safely and within traffic laws. May require driving in inclement weather conditions.
3: Follow an assigned route. Read and interpret maps and directions.
4: May maintain logs and reports for daily runs.
5: Maintain vehicle in a clean condition. May check fluid and gas levels in vehicle.
6: May provide shipping and receiving support.
7: Carry out any additional assignments required to fulfill the Mission of the American Red Cross.

**_WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):_**
+ Education: High School or equivalent required.
+ Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred.
+ Management Experience: N/A
+ Skills & Abilities: Ability to become proficient with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
+ Must have valid drivers license and clean DMV record.
+ Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks, complete in a timely and accurate manner. Ability to work on a team.
**_WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE (Preferred Qualifications):_**

**Travel: Travel requires up to 50%.**
**Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.**

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). Overall mobility is essential including sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle and working under challenging conditions.
