Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Nashville. This role involves delivering comprehensive monthly bookkeeping services to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. Responsibilities include managing reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, sales tax filing, and generating financial reports. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your clients, fostering strong relationships and providing insightful consultation on best bookkeeping practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely monthly bookkeeping services for multiple clients.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Execute payroll services and ensure compliance with sales tax filings.
• Prepare client financial reports and deliver additional accounting services as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs.
• Advise clients on effective bookkeeping practices and conduct regular financial reviews.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper with a track record of managing multiple client accounts.
• Strong understanding of debits and credits, along with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• BA in Accounting preferred but not mandatory.
