Location: Hybrid - Downtown San Antonio, TX
Salary: $50,000-$60,000
Company: Our client, an established global live performance venue management and production company, is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to join their finance team.

Job Overview:

As a Bookkeeper, you will be primarily responsible for performing reconciliations and managing accounts payable (AP). This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing you to work both in the downtown San Antonio office and remotely as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconciliations: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card statements to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, proper coding, and accurate recording of expenses.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software, maintaining comprehensive and precise records.
• Invoice Management: Verify, record, and process invoices, ensuring all transactions are appropriately documented.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and record expenses, ensuring alignment with budgets and financial forecasts.
• Reporting: Assist in preparing regular financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Support Month-End Close: Aid in month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
• Document Management: Maintain organized and secure financial documentation and records.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required
• Experience: Minimum of 3 year of bookkeeping or accounting experience, with a focus on reconciliations and accounts payable.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
