Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client’s team!

Do you have experience using QuickBooks?

Are you comfortable working with multiple accounts with different deadlines?

As a Bookkeeper, you are responsible for maintaining and overseeing the financial accounts for eight regions. You’ll be responsible for various monthly, annual, and ongoing financial tasks, collaborating with Trustees and Directors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Compensation: $24-25.65/hr Depending on Experience

Location:  Fort Worth

Schedule: 36 hour HYBRID work week! 7:30am – 5:00pm

  • Monday – Tuesday: Onsite
  • Wednesday – Thursday: Work from home
  • OFF FRIDAY *Exception: Must work Friday’s every July

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and maintain eight accounts
  • Pull monthly reports for Trustees and respond to additional needs
  • Make bank deposits and run A/P checks as needed
  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly
  • Handle reconciliation for the Spring Forum and Fall Conference
  • Prepare and distribute financial statements monthly
  • Email Trustees and Directors key documents such as Balance Sheets, P&L Budget vs. Actual, Transaction Details, and Bank Reconciliations
  • Set up the approved annual budget in QuickBooks
  • Prepare E-990 filings for each region
  • Provide W-9s to membership companies and vendors as required
  • Serve as a liaison to eight Region Directors and Trustees
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of experience using QuickBooks to manage budgets and prepare financial reports
  • Strong background in financial management, bank reconciliations, and preparing financial statements required
  • 2+ years of working experience in Microsoft Excel (will be tested)
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills for working with Trustees, Directors, and vendors
  • High School Diploma/GED required
