We are now expanding into California and are seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to oversee operations, represent our brand, and ensure our clients receive unmatched support.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated, and dependable Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to take charge of daily maintenance operations in ACV. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on gate calls, on-call maintenance, and overseeing maintenance activities for our airline clients.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, takes initiative without being told, and represents our company with professionalism and urgency. You will be the face of Close Air Support in ACV, serving as the main point of contact for our airline partners and ensuring quick response times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all maintenance activities at ACV.
• Respond immediately to airline maintenance requests, including gate calls and on-call/AOG situations.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and return-to-service tasks on regional and airline jets.
• Coordinate with airline operations teams to minimize aircraft downtime.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records in accordance with FAA and company requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
• Represent Close Air Support in a professional manner to airline clients, vendors, and airport personnel.
• Oversee and manage other maintenance personnel or contractors as needed.

Qualifications:

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (Required)
• Prior aircraft maintenance experience (regional, corporate, or airline jets preferred)
• Previous supervisory or senior technician experience highly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to respond quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced airline environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required
• Must have your own basic tools for aircraft maintenance (specialty tools provided as needed)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain airport security clearance (SIDA badge)
