Whisper Aero is seeking a Data Analyst Intern in the Air Mobility division. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in collecting, analyzing, visualizing, and presenting critical data and insights related to Air Mobility. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to leverage web scraping, research, coding, and data visualization to contribute to high-impact projects, including aircraft assessments, demand modeling, airport research, and strategic partnerships. Your expertise in creating dynamic dashboards and actionable visualizations will help advance Whisper's vision to lead the electric jet age.

• Aircraft Comparative Assessments : Conduct in-depth analyses of existing conventional aircraft. Develop intuitive dashboards to visualize aircraft performance and economics.

• Data-Driven Demand Modeling : Scrape, clean, and analyze datasets to identify trends in air mobility demand. Build predictive models to forecast future market and infrastructure needs.

• Airport Research : Evaluate airport infrastructure and assess their readiness for electric aircraft operations. Contribute to the development of plans and recommendations for electric charging infrastructure upgrades.

• Strategic Partnerships : Support engagement with existing industry partners and stakeholders and conduct research to identify potential collaborators in the air mobility ecosystem. Prepare presentations and dashboards showcasing our findings to external partners.

• Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Person.

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar field.

• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, with experience in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, BeautifulSoup, and Matplotlib.

• Data Tools Experience and Dashboard Experience: Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, MongoDB, or equivalent tools. Demonstrated ability to design and build interactive dashboards; portfolio or example projects highly encouraged.

• Research and Communication Skills : Strong ability to conduct literature reviews, synthesize information, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• Attention to Detail : Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion : A genuine interest in aviation and shaping the future of sustainable air travel.

• Prior experience in startups or fast-paced, dynamic environments.

• Knowledge of aerodynamics or advanced propulsion systems.

• Familiarity with OpenVSP, VSPAERO, or similar tools.

• Experience with geographic information systems (GIS) or airport infrastructure modeling.

• Exposure to hybrid-electric or electric propulsion systems.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data tools (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
