Experience with media processing, microphone processing, psychoacoustic processing, filter design, audio and system tuning. Experience in wearable audio systems design, tuning, and validation, including power and thermal considerations for micro-acoustics. Experience in audio technology system integration. Experience in objective and subjective audio quality assessment. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Product, Acoustic, Algo, and Software teams to define and develop wearable audio systems and deliver solutions that meet key user experiences. Develop tools, tuning strategies, and automate new methodologies to launch wearable audio solutions. Lead wearable audio systems design, tuning and validation, including power and thermal considerations, and develop and update the audio KPIs based on the product definition. Liaise with external vendors to ensure quality requirements are met. Contribute to the wearable audio roadmap definition by investigating new technologies.
