Key Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Political Science, including introductory courses and specialized seminars in … Advise and mentor undergraduate students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and community engagement. Contribute to the development of innovative curricula and interdisciplinary initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Master’s or Ph.D. in Political Science or a related field by the time of appointment. Ph.D. preferred. ABDs likely to complete the degree within a year will also be considered. Strong commitment to teaching, with the ability to engage diverse student populations. The ability to teach politics courses with a focus on justice, civil liberty, and public policy is desired. The ability to teach comparative politics courses with a geographic focus towards Asia or Africa is a plus. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. A passion for teaching research and writing skills is desired as the teaching load for this position is 24 credits per year.
